I have finally posted the wedding photos from the LAS/Cheryl wedding.

It was quite the memorable event. Soon it will be our turn.

Every now and then we have people come into our lives that you consider to be a good friends and for one reason or another your lives take you in different directions. For various reasons, in some of those cases, we do not reconnect. I had a great deal of friends who I worked with at Fountain House (you should really read about this unique psychosocial rehab model) when I was still working in the field of social work.

Last night I was checking my emails quickly before heading to dinner and found an email titled “Blast from the Past”. One of my closest friends from those days (some 7+ years ago) had emailed me out of the blue. He had Googled me and found my blog. Andrew is one of those guys it was so easy to have fun with. He, like myself, is a very driven and “serious” individual. He has a tremendous amount of passion for his work - which I have always respected. At the same time, he was able to let down after work and enjoy some down time. To no surprise, he has worked his way through the ranks at FH and is now in a senior management role. I am very happy to have heard from him after all these years. We are likely going to get together soon for a drink to catch up. If a day in Bermuda weren’t enough, that made my day!
